The Almond Tree Training Café

The Almond Tree Café is a small food outlet specialising in fantastic, and affordable food. We have gluten-free and vegetarian options and are happy to cater to everyones needs and tastes. If you want it, and we have the ingredients, we'll make it.

The Almond Tree is a particularly special place because it is there that its owner, Deb, dedicates her time and 20 years industry experience to training unemployed young people (some of whom have disabilities or low levels of English). Young job seekers come to the cafe to gain invaluable experience in food handling and preparation, customer service and waiting skills.

The Almond Tree Training Café offers excellent lunches at a range of low prices. It is one of the very few cafes where you can still get lunch for under $5! The Cafe has a following on Facebook where the latest events, planned titbits and delicious meals are discussed.
